October 8, 2010 – 7:06 amToday we are pleased to announce that the WiFi hotspot data is freely available on all Android devices (ver. 1.6+) ![]()

For those who haven’t yet have opportunity to try it, here’s what Total Hotspots is about:
It’s the Global WiFi Directory, that helps you stay connected on the move, and contains over 250k public hotspots from a global network of service providers, community wireless projects and independent venue owners – one of the largest and most accurate sources of legitimate public WiFi hotspots. (source: TechCrunch).

Thanks to Total Hotspots for Android you’ll know where you can find the best WiFi nearby, in places like Cafes, Pubs, Hotels; “Rummble” (or rather rate) those WiFi hotspots and see user comments. You can filter data by free or paid WiFi. Total Hotspots also allows you to add new hotspots you have found with rating, description and photograph. This is is the most useful aspect because you can now benefit from insider knowledge from an active global community about the best free nodes.
In December 2009, Rummble acquired its first company – Total Hotspots. Total Hotspots for iPhone is also available free of charge from the App Store.
